New Chinese style retro Hanfu hairpin

I love the red and yellow leaves of autumn; they're like a grand ceremony, painting the entire mountainside with a final burst of brilliance.

The colorful autumn, besides its various shades of green, also features the reds of maple and other leafy trees. We like to use plant elements in our designs, and the idea of ginkgo leaves has been around for a long time. We've just been looking for a suitable material to express the almost translucent golden hue of ginkgo leaves bathed in sunlight.

Material & Dimension Specification
This hand-carved ginkgo-leaf hairpin has a total length of approx. 20cm. Minor dimensional variations naturally exist as every piece is 100% handcrafted.

Main rod: Made of Dalbergia Retusa, sourced from the Americas. Every piece has totally unique wood grain and color shade, no two products are exactly the same.
Middle connector: 925 sterling silver, treated with acid-washed vintage antiquing finish.
Top ornament: White ram horn, hand carved. Each carving detail varies slightly, every piece is one-of-a-kind.
White Ram Horn Care
White ram horn refers to the pale, naturally light sheep horn, presenting a soft faint yellow semi-translucent appearance. Its color is never perfectly uniform; some pieces come with natural subtle blood traces and tiny inherent hairline cracks.

Daily maintenance rules:

Avoid prolonged water soaking, direct strong sunlight exposure, hard drops and impacts. Wipe the horn part regularly with mild skin lotion to nourish the material, otherwise extra new cracks may develop over time.

Dalbergia Retusa is one of the officially listed national standard "Hongmu (Redwood)" species in China, native to the Americas.

It has extremely rich wood grain and natural color variations. We do not support custom pattern / color selection; all finished pieces are made randomly from available stock.
